MATH Anticipated Enrollment
Fall 2024 MATH Anticipated Enrollment Survey is available April 19 - August 4, 2024.
The Anticipated Enrollment Survey is an effort to ensure the Mathematics Department is offering the appropriate number of sections for our popular courses each semester.
The survey is for students who could not course request a MATH course through HokieSPA due to one of the following:
- Prerequisite error
Prerequisite course was taken elsewhere and has not been added to student's transcript by the Registrar’s office. - Prerequisite error
A duplicate course was taken at Virginia Tech (e.g. MATH 2534 instead of MATH 3034).
- Major restriction error
The student is changing majors and/or is a double major with a major restriction.
IMPORTANT:
- This survey DOES NOT replace the Force Add Request Survey.
- This survey is NOT for students who have already made a course request for the MATH course through HokieSPA.
- In line with our current force add policy, students who do not complete a course request through HokieSpa or the Anticipated Enrollment Survey will likely have their force add request denied.
NOTE: Please do NOT contact the math department in addition to completing the survey. If we encounter a question or problem, we will send an email directly to you with instructions. We will only email you if there is an issue with your request.
