I am the Caldwell Postdoc here at the Math department in Virginia Tech. My research lies at the intersection of algebraic geometry and combinatorics, and I am particularly fond of results built around finding a naturally geometric home for classically combinatorial objects. In particular, I study Schubert varieties, Steinberg varieties, Springer fibres, orbital varieties, and Kac-Moody groups.
I received my PhD (2019) and Masters (2014) in Mathematics from Northeastern University. Earlier, I received a Bsc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Chennai Mathematical Institute in 2011.
