The effect of small amplitude oscillatory forcing as a dynamic
stabilization or destabilization mechanism for two-layer plane
Couette-Poiseuille flow is studied using numerical and asymptotic
methods. For example, the time-periodic oscillations may be due to the pump
which generates the press-driven pipe flow.
