**Course Description:** Math 5465 covers, as time allows, the construction, analysis, and implementation of numerical algorithms in linear algebra. The course will focus on both mathematical and computational issues. Specific topics covered will include linear equation solving, linear least squares problems, eigenvalue problems, and iterative methods for linear systems and eigenvalue problems.
