Title: Pattern Formation in Reaction-Diffusion Systems
Abstract
In this talk, I will discuss how bifurcation theory
with symmetry can be used to understand transitions between different
types of square patterns, and transitions between squares and stripes
in reaction-diffusion systems on growing square domains. I will also
mention other work that I did on dynamics and bifurcations of spiral
waves on spherical and approximately spherical domains, and
on synchrony-breaking bifurcations for coupled cell maps.
