Title: Nonlinear wave equations in exterior domains
Abstract
In this talk, we will introduce some recent results concerning
long-time existence to certain quasilinear wave equations in exterior
domains. In particular, we will focus on methods developed in a
recent joint work with C. Sogge. These techniques allow us to show
long time existence only using the invariance of the wave equation
under translations and rotations. Other related applications will
also be mentioned.
