Title: New results and analytic methods in the study of the time-dependent Schrödinger equation
Abstract
Schrödinger's equation with time periodic (or quasiperiodic)
external forcing is studied when the forcing is not necessarily small.
The results reflect qualitative departures from the behavior expected
from perturbation theory and agree with experimental results. The talk
will focus on the results, as well as on new methods developed in the
process of analyzing the equation nonperturbatively.
