I joined Virginia Tech in the fall of 2015 as an assistant professor.

Before that I was a postdoc in the Theoretical Climate Dynamics group at UCLA. My mentors were Prof. Mickaël D. Chekroun and Prof. Michael Ghil.

I received my Ph.D. degree in Mathematics at Indiana University in February 2013. My thesis advisor was Prof. Shouhong Wang; and the topic of my thesis is on dynamic transition problems in dissipative dynamical systems governed by nonlinear parabolic partial differential equations.

My CV can be found here.
